Holly Moore, M.P.H.
Award-Winning Technical Product Developer + Ingredient Specialist
Holly’s journey in personal care began with her Masters in Public Health at Boston University, concentrating in health law, human rights, and bioethics. She completed her thesis on the US cosmetic industry from a regulatory, ethical and environmental health perspective.
In 2013, Holly joined the founding team at Follain (acquired by Credo Beauty) as Director of Health and Education, building the first retail-based formulation assessment and education platform, weaving health advocacy and sustainability into high-level branding. To gain a deeper understanding of in-house product manufacturing, end-to-end supply chain management, and the prestige beauty sector, she joined May Lindstrom Skin as Head of Global Partnerships in 2015.
The Ingredientist ™ was founded in 2018 as a bespoke product development consultancy.
Holly’s consulting approach is integrative and thorough. Acting as a liaison among key stakeholders, Holly introduces methodology to the madness by aligning brand mission with product development strategy, end-to-end. Armed with extensive knowledge of cosmetic science, product manufacturing, and ingredient sourcing, she designs, calibrates, and positions products for handoffs to teams and beyond to the market.
Holly believes the most impactful products are thoughtfully delivered experiences that solve pain points and speak to a person’s intelligence, curiosity, and creativity.
